Be Opinionated

Be bold.

Be proud.

Be you.

But most importantly, have an opinion.

Opinions on whatever you want.

Someone will share the sentiment, even if they don’t agree with your point of view.

The second worst personality trait is being defensive about your opinion.

The worst personality trait is not having an opinion.

They’re two sides of the same coin, but alas they do have different levels of worseness.

I pride myself on being opinionated.

However, I’m a quiet kid at heart.

If I can’t weigh in, I’ll listen.

I’ll listen and learn.

I honestly believe I’m thinking about this today because of the politics in the UK at the moment.

We’re too afraid to be opinionated.

No-one has a sense of empathetic listening.

Just because someone has a differing opinion, doesn’t mean you can’t listen and learn.

We are a product of our experiences and perceptions.

That’s what tabula rasa says anyway.

All my friends are opinionated.

I feel the tension and listen, learn.

It’s the best way to be.

Be Opinionated
