Bored

The world isn’t ending.

It’s people are no more crazy, irresponsible or selfish.

The world hasn’t gone mad.

The world has got bored.

A lot of young people are stuck in perpetual hopelessness.

That bit I get.

The lack of control. That’s where I empathise with people with eco-anxiety.

However, I’m astonished that everyone has suddenly got so bored.

Life moved inside, the walls are up, and everything stops.

Really?

I don’t get it.

I’m excited for the next few months. There’s a lot to do. A lot to try, experiment and achieve.

I know I can’t control the outbreak, all I can do is follow government advice.

Boredom is not sustainable.

And what we right now is some sustainability.
