Engage In Conversation
It’s true you never know where a conversation might take you.
This is the very nature of our human existence.
Conversation can lead to something quite magical.
Some days I have no conversations with people outside family.
No texts.
No calls.
No nothing.
Those days are different, and sometimes rather depressing.
However, the opportunity to capture some of someone else’s time is something I treasure.
On that note, I’m going to make a concerted effort to look at my time that way.
See who can capture it and for what reasons.
So I can organise myself accordingly.
That means limiting time on social and focusing on what’s important.
That’s why I love this blog.
The random ideas I have come out all in one place.
Back to it.
Today I had many conversations from informal chats walking down the road to an interview.
Each one made me realise something about assumptions, impressions, facial expressions and emotions.
You learn more from these passive conversations that you do looking on social.
I should really limit my usage to necessities.
But what defines those necessities?
Who knows.
Anyway, I think I really value human connection through conversation because you’re always learning and growing.
That’s really fascinating to me.
I enjoy being told about something I didn’t know to go away and think about the world that little bit differently.
Reading is great for knowledge, but only conversations can elicit those memories and experiences you never would’ve dreamed of in your wildest imaginations.
That’s the beauty of a conversation.
So engage, engage in more and be open.
You never know what’s round the corner.
