On my second trip to the States in the space of a year, I look forward to seeing family and friends so soon after I left. Fort Worth bound.

‘We never savour our time in the moment, just yearn for the time back when it’s past’

For a wannabe journalist, I’ve read too few broadsheet newspapers.

How do I know that?

1) I only read the Metro and Evening Standard because they’re free and readily available

2) Traditional broadsheet newspapers are impossible to handle

Let me explain number 2)

It’s large, lengthy (but jam-packed) and flappy.

It doesn’t hold its shape because the paper weight is inproportional.

Enough with that story.

The gate has just been announced.

Better head over there.

There’s not that many people at the airport.

Not many people scuttled when the gate was announced.

Hoping I can move around – current seat is less than favourable.

See you in Fort Worth.

Fort Worth bound.
