Frazzle

I get myself in jams.

My brain thinks too much and I get lost, confused and disorientated.

I get into frenzies over the small things and dig holes that lead to nowhere.

It’s not productive.

It’s quite the opposite.

And then I have eureka moment and the stars align.

By that time, I’m exhausted.

But usually I don’t have the time to recharge, because I’m up against it.

Which means making the best of what could’ve been a bad situation.

What I’ve noticed though is that within the frenzy, there is pure brilliance.

As I’m my biggest critic, I’ll never see it and have to trust myself that I know what I’m talking about.

It’s only when I relax back down to normal that I see the fruits of the labour.

This process is more than sustainable, because without it, I’d be unambitious and trying to solve easy problems.

The thirst for knowledge is real.
