I Am All That I Am
Good enough? Well it doesn’t really matter. You’re only what you are. Sometimes we forget. That’s why we try so hard. I am all that I am.
‘Being good enough for yourself is hard enough. Add another person or society into the mix and you’ve got a impossible life task.’
I’ll keep this short.
I’m tired and need some rest.
But I want to share this message.
It’s tried. Tested. But needs repeating. For myself, more than anyone else.
It’s a life worth living to the fullest.
I’m fallen in love with self-improvement.
I love to struggle. I love to see the end result.
I’ve learnt to love the adversity. I’ve learnt not to escape.
I know my limits and every day I try and break them down.
I want to see others succeed.
I’m happy to see myself struggle, because I know it’s worth it, but I can’t bare to see others struggle for bare necessities.
It’s a simple message.
One that some of us forget in our mobile worlds.
There is a life behind that phone.
Your life.
One day without contact won’t end you. Your own conscious and addiction will.
The physical device and internet connection will exist.
You might be able to focus for once.
I can’t pretend to have skills I don’t have.
That’s why I axed some skills I planned on learning in January and put on my CV but when I was interviewed in April had to remove, because I didn’t attempt to learn.
That’s humility and truthfulness.
I can’t be someone who I’m not.
I don’t try to act like others.
I do me.
I’ve learnt to love my imperfections and am happy to disagree with others.
Friendships survive disagreements, they don’t survive dependencies.
Living a life for yourself and watching the world compliment and help you is something rewarding when you least expect it.
I work hard at certain things and slack on others.
I’m human and I prioritise.
I’m learning I quite like my own time over spending it with others.
I’m learning that’s okay because I know people will come and go depending on their situation.
People have a lot of life to live. I’ll live mine.
I’ve learnt to not hang on a reply and make decisions.
I’ve learnt that I’m a good talker, but a better man to convince.
I believe in the honest sale or no sale.
Knowing the facts is better than worming a lie.
I’ll work hard given the parameters and the tools.
I’ll give you ideas and expect no credit, knowing that half the time you won’t follow through.
I know how society works and I’m learning about how and why it changes.
This is me.
And that’s great, I’m sure other people compare themselves to me.
I compare myself to others too.
But I don’t dwell on it, it’s just human nature.
I’ve got my life to live. You live yours. Good stuff.
I’ll do my thing and you’ll see it. I hope to see the same for you.
I am all that I am.
