Letting It All Out

Speaking on an issue that I feel strongly about is not something I’m afraid of, I just got an experience to use a different method today. Letting it all out.

Me in Trafalgar Square, London, UK

‘Having a platform to engage and act unfiltered is a utopia — now through the strength of youth voice, it’s becoming a reality.’

Human rights and sustainability.

Two topics interrelated but topics which I had direct contact with in my first internship.

I became engaged on a corporate level while still keep my civic cynicism.

Today, I was invited to help out with a podcast on blockchain use in sustainable fashion production.

I met four other people engaged in current affairs and blockchain.

It was a great conversation.

We did a series which included five episodes transcending the need-to-knows about blockchain technology and the future of the fashion industry.

The ending of the fifth podcast, and the last one, in the series will make you question what sort of anarchy was formulating.

But it’s a solid end to a series, I’m sure you’ll enjoy.

I’ll update the blog when that comes out.

I think these modes of speech and opinion create room for improvement for all.

They open you up to learning more about other people’s perspectives.

In an age of angry Facebook comments and ‘discussions’ on politics, this was a chilled out alternative with like-minded millennials.

The entrepreneurialism flowed from the mouths of everyone in that room which was inspiring for sure.

They all spoke so confidently and sure of themselves.

It was an empowering feeling to be the one in control of what people perceive of you.

I’m not sure the reach of this podcast series, but once again exposure doesn’t matter as much as do the experiences.

The laughs, the laughing-crying emojis that were felt throughout.

The interesting perspectives and useful analogies.

It all helps.

It helps make the day more memorable.

I would definitely do something like that again if I were invited.

I think it brings out those almost drunken emotions.

Your true feelings and you can lock horns (in a friendly environment) with people who might disagree.

I hadn’t met any of these people before today but now I’m thinking that I’m glad I did, finally.

When I tried to do this with the MExU Project, it was a flop.

I did it with Will once but that was the only time.

I think this could be the start of something good.

I want to do more podcasting soon.

Letting it all out.
