I’ve realised that I’m never going to be an inherently popular person.

I mean this in the performative then the instrumental sense.

I do get on with a huge variety of individuals but I don’t see to have a large collective reach.

I focus on 1–1 interactions and that’s my strength.

I’m not a leader of large swathes of people.

I’ve always had that aspiration, to be like Noah and the Ark.

But slowly but surely I’ve realised that if I focus on the small, it slowly gets bigger.

I personally don’t do well in groups.

I never have and it’s probably why I don’t garner mass appeal.

But that’s okay. I’m grateful for a small and meaningful bunch.
